Jakarta, January 23, 2026 — Institut Pariwisata Tedja Indonesia (IPTI) reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening the connection between education and industry through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Martha Tilaar Business Academy (ABMT). This collaboration represents a strategic effort to develop adaptive and industry-relevant education in the fields of tourism, hospitality, and the beauty industry.
The MoU signing was accompanied by a distinguished lecture entitled “Creative Hospitality and Beauty Experience: From Service to Signature,” highlighting the growing importance of experience-driven services in today’s industry landscape.
In her remarks, the Rector of Institut Pariwisata Tedja Indonesia emphasized that the partnership reflects IPTI’s dedication to producing graduates who are not only technically competent, but also strong in character and experience.
“This collaboration marks the beginning of a sustainable partnership between academia and industry. We believe that character, attitude, and experience are essential elements in preparing graduates to meet industry challenges,” said the Rector of IPTI.
The lecture was delivered by Dr. Dra. Emy Indaryani, M.Pd., Dipl. CID., MCDH., Head of Quality Assurance at the Martha Tilaar Business Academy. She highlighted that modern service industries demand more than standardized procedures—they require distinctive and meaningful experiences.
“A signature experience is not created through written standards alone. It is formed through mindset, habits, and sincerity in service, making human resources the true carriers of experience,” Dr. Emy explained.
The collaboration between IPTI and ABMT is centered on positioning people as the core of experience creation, combining IPTI’s strengths in hospitality and tourism with ABMT’s expertise in beauty, grooming, persona development, and experience design. Through this partnership, both institutions aim to enhance educational quality while contributing to the future development of industry-ready professionals.
